The bandwagon

Keith (linked above) sent me this one, and out of honest-to-God respect for our friendship, I am posting this survey:

Eight Songs I Am Diggin’ On Right Now:

"Nothing's Gonna Change my World" -- Beatles
"Mother Nature's Son" -- Beatles
"The Girl From Yesterday" -- Eagles
"Love Song to a Stranger" -- Joan Baez
"Southern Cross" -- CSN
"Chelsea Hotel" -- Leonard Cohen
"Mister Cellophane" -- John C. Reilly's version from latest "Chicago"
"Boulder to Birmingham" -- Emmylou Harris

If money were no object, what would you be doing with your life?

Spending long periods of time at national parks, kayaking, contra dancing, going to music festivals, visiting friends and family around the country.

Money is just that - an object, so why aren’t you doing it?

I do do this. Sometimes.

What’s better: horses or cows?

To eat, to ride, to eat, or to clean up after? My answer is horses.

What do you think the secret to happiness is?

That we are responsible for our own.

When was the last time you had a dream that you either remember well or did not want to awake from? Can you share a bit?

I dreamed last night I had a dog I had to find someone to care for while I was away on business. It occurred to me I should just give it away to a shelter or something, as it was causing too much stress in my life. I took the dream as an allegory ... for what I will not say.

When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An engineer, because that's what my dad was. Also a pathologist; I like to know the "why" of things.

Complete this statement: Love is…

there! (Just ask Hermann and Sally)

Can you tell a good story?

From a bad one? yup.

Can you remember your last daydream? What was it about?

Yes. NOYB.

If you were to thank someone today, who would you thank?

My colleague for giving me a ride to work.
